Being a major sports figure involves constant training, consistent performances, and a determination to become great. Giuseppe Mongiello has found the delicate balance between all of these things. Giuseppe Mongiello was born in America. His family was one of modest means. His father was a tax accountant, who labored day after day to make a living. His father encouraged Giuseppe to continue with his passion in sports, especially in tennis and baseball. Giuseppe recounts how his father, Ernst, used to take him to games and tennis matches. He credits his dads influence for developing his love for tennis. However, Giuseppe had also witnessed the rise and fall of many of his favorite sports heroes like Barry Bonds, who was found to rely on steroids to enhance his performance.
